And happy 1st of the month. It’s already February! Off to Tampa for the weekend. Have a great one :)

So I went a little crazy yesterday pinning photos of bar carts. I’m moving into a new place in about a month (EEK!) and am really jonesin’ for one of these lovely pieces. They have such a chic, vintage vibe to them, which is just what I’m going for in my new home.

And, the obsession with getting a cart escalated when I ordered this shaker and four glasses from the Target + Neiman Marcus collection (on MAJOR sale still!!). I can’t wait to put them atop my beautiful bar cart that I’m hoping to find this weekend at the Citywide Garage Sale here in Austin. Basically a giant flea market at the Palmer Events Center near downtown. If you’re in the area you should stop by. I hear the prices are great. OMG! I am beyond excited. I’m also gonna be keeping an eye out for a record player. Wish me luck :)
My first DIY on the blog! And it’s a super easy one :)
I never know what to do with my old shopping bags. You know, the really cute ones you get sometimes… Don’t you just hate to throw them away? Well, problem solved.
For this little project you’ll need a shopping bag, (I also used that protector bag that usually comes with designer purses, which I never use those things anyway) frames, poster board, glue, tape, some scissors and a pencil for tracing. This is so easy, it really doesn’t even need anymore explanation. Just cut your bag and the poster board to the size you prefer, glue and/or tape the bag to the poster board, then insert in your frame and voilà! Easy peasy!
I hope you enjoyed this simple tutorial. I had a lot of fun doing this one, so let me know if you try it. Happy Weekend!
Hi, this is my very first personal blog. I’m really excited about it. I’m currently waiting on my new camera, a Nikon D3100, to come in the mail so I can start posting and sharing my pieceology with you. See you soon.
